Loving wine since the age of 'I can't remember', I decided to get serious a few years ago and follow my true love of wine. Living in Northern California made it very easy for me to realize my wine passion, meet amazing winemakers, and most importantly, an introduction to small production, 'boutique' wines. There is something to be said about sitting down with the legends responsible for producing these exquisite wines and learning their wine 'story'. When you begin to understand the labor of love that goes into every bottle, you can only then appreciate the intensity and focus that is necessary to produce a truly great bottle of wine. It's not as glamorous as one may think -- it's tough work -- they just make it look REALLY easy.
After obtaining my WSET Level 3, I decided it was time to share what I've learned and proudly launched Vin Bar Carmel with the guiding principles that above all drinking wine should be approachable and most of all an enjoyable experience. We offer a variety of services from curating those hard to find wines we know you will love, to working with your favorite chef on amazing wine and food pairings. Tailoring on site or virtual wine tastings for your family, friends, or co-workers is our forté where we will guide you through a tasting -- a guaranteed fun time where you will taste A LOT and maybe even learn a little! Each experience is custom tailored to your palate and budget so the sky is indeed the limit.
